Thanks to the hard work all the volunteers do and in recognition and promoting the use of former racehorses in education and therapy programmes, the Racehorse Rescue Centre has become an Approved Retraining Establishment for the care of ‘vulnerable or unwanted’ former racehorses, by the Retraining of Racehorses (ROR).

It costs £18,000 per year to run the Centre as we are all volunteers and no salaries or personal expenses are paid and any short fall is made up from volunteers.
