Wear the Original Purple Poppy with Pride

Remembering animals who served. Supporting rescued racehorses today.

The Purple Poppy honours the horses, dogs and other animals that served and died in conflicts around the world. They had no choice but to serve.

Today, wearing a Purple Poppy is a simple way to remember their service and share their story with others.

Racehorse Rescue Centre has continued Purple Poppy remembrance since 2012. Every badge bought through RRC helps support the animals in our care.

By choosing the genuine Original Purple Poppy, you help provide food, veterinary care and a safe future for rescued racehorses.

What Does the Purple Poppy Mean?

The Purple Poppy is worn in remembrance of animals lost through war and conflict. Wearing one keeps their service in people’s thoughts while helping rescued animals that need care today.

First, the badge helps start conversations about the horses, dogs, pigeons and other animals whose courage should never be forgotten.

In addition, buying directly from Racehorse Rescue Centre ensures that your support reaches a registered UK animal charity.

Most importantly, each purchase contributes to the daily care and rehabilitation of former racehorses that need safety, patience and a new purpose.

Our Purple Poppy badge costs £5 and includes free UK postage. You can wear it for remembrance events, display it throughout the year or give it to someone who cares about animals.
