Not every racehorse gets the safe retirement they deserve.

By joining our racehorse charity lottery, you can help the Racehorse Rescue Centre rescue, rehabilitate and care for former racehorses that are vulnerable, unwanted or have nowhere secure to go.

The horses cannot ask for help, so we ask on their behalf.

For just £10 a month our charity lottery offers 52 prizes and a jackpot up to £25,000. The Racehorse Rescue Centre receives 65% of ticket sales, providing regular support for the horses in our care. You also receive a FREE Gourmet Society Membership, saving you up to 50% off food and drink.

Why your support matters

We are not here to let the racing world off the hook. We are here to make sure the horse does not pay the price.

When a racing career ends, a horse may suddenly face an uncertain future. Some need time to recover physically. Others need patient rehabilitation, retraining and a safe place where they can learn to trust again.

The Racehorse Rescue Centre provides that care. Our volunteers work every day to give each horse the best possible chance of a healthy and secure future.

Regular lottery income also helps us plan ahead. Therefore, we can continue supporting former racehorses that have nowhere else to turn.

A second chance beyond racing

Rehabilitation is different for every horse. Some former racehorses may become suitable riding horses. Others may be better suited as companions or therapy partners.

We take time to understand each horse and find the future that best meets its individual needs.

Above all, our aim is to protect the horse, rebuild its confidence and give it the second chance it deserves.

Where the money goes

The Racehorse Rescue Centre is 100% volunteer-run and does not pay salaries.

The lottery company manages the draw and administration, while 65% of ticket sales comes to the charity. This gives supporters a simple and transparent way to make a regular contribution towards our work.
