Would you like to volunteer with horses? Racehorse Rescue Centre welcomes applications from people who want to support the charity’s work.

First, before applying, think about the time you can offer, the skills you would like to use and the kind of work that suits you. For example, some roles may involve practical yard tasks, while others can use professional, administrative, fundraising, media or community skills. However, not every role involves direct horse contact, but every suitable contribution can help the charity.

In addition, volunteering is a commitment of time and energy. Therefore, a good match should work for both you and the organisation, so be realistic about your availability, travel and experience. For example, if you hope to volunteer with horses, explain any previous equine experience clearly and be prepared to follow the Centre’s safety instructions and supervision.
