A quick fundraising timeline

Meanwhile, invite people to take part or support you. In addition, check safety, insurance and safeguarding needs. However, keep the plan simple enough to manage well. Finally, pay in the funds and record the total. Afterwards, thank everyone who helped. Moreover, keep a simple record of decisions and costs. Therefore, you can answer questions clearly after the event. Finally, save any useful notes for your next fundraiser. For example, keep receipts for necessary expenses. Keep your event safe, clear and legal
However, independent organisers remain responsible for planning, supervising and safely running their activity. First, obtain the permission of the venue or landowner and arrange suitable insurance where necessary.

- Then, follow current food-hygiene and allergen guidance when serving or selling food.
- In addition, plan appropriate supervision and safeguarding where children or vulnerable people are involved.
