Create a memorial to remember someone special while helping Racehorse Rescue Centre care for vulnerable and retired racehorses.

Use the form below to begin your tribute. Take a little time to decide on the name, message and details you would like to share. A simple, heartfelt message is enough; it does not need to be long. Please check names and dates carefully before submitting and avoid including private information such as a home address, personal email address or telephone number in the memorial wording.

Memorial collections and donations

If money was collected at a funeral, remembrance service or other gathering, please contact us before completing the form. Tell us the name of the person being remembered, the approximate amount collected and the best way to reach you. We can then help make sure the memorial and donation are connected correctly.

You can also make a separate gift through our donation page. Every donation supports the charity’s work with horses in need, including day-to-day care, rehabilitation and preparation for a suitable future.

Before you create a memorial

• Choose the wording you want visitors to read.
• Check that you have permission to use any photograph you submit.
• Keep a copy of your message for your own records.
• Use your contact details only in the private form fields, not in the public tribute text.

A memorial can mark a life, a friendship or a meaningful connection. It can also give family and friends one place to pause, remember and share the tribute. There is no single correct way to write it. You may wish to mention a favourite memory, a quality that made the person special, or the reason supporting rescued racehorses feels appropriate.
