A Candle in Their Memory
Lighting a candle is a simple and meaningful way to remember
someone special. When you create a memorial on the Racehorse Rescue Centre
Memory Wall, you can choose a candle to appear below
their photograph, dates and personal tribute. Choose the candle that feels right for you and how long you would like it to remain lit. Family and friends can then return
to their memorial whenever they wish to relight a candle or donate.
And by lighting a candle in their memory,
you are also helping to care for horses in need at the Racehorse Rescue Centre.

Three candle styles are available when creating a memorial.
White Candle
Peaceful and elegant
Red Candle
Warm and traditional
Carriage Candle

How It Works

Create their memorial
Add their name, photograph, memorial dates and your personal tribute.

Choose a candle
Select the White, Red or Carriage Candle for their memorial.

Choose the duration
Select how long you would like their candle to remain lit.

Remember them
Once approved, their memorial becomes part of the RRC Memory Wall.
The memorial and candle are separate.
When the selected candle period ends, the lit candle changes to its
matching burnt-out candle image while the memorial itself remains
according to the memorial period selected.

When you are ready, create their memorial, add your tribute and
choose the candle you would like to light in their memory.
